Drug Screen & Confirmation
Urine Drug Screening (UDS) is one of the objective tools that can
assist clinicians in evaluating a patient’s drug use. UDS must be
done routinely as part of an overall best practice program to
prescribe chronic opioid therapy.
Baseline and Random Urine Drug Testing are the best currently available tools for Chronic Opioid Therapy (COT) compliances, risk stratification, behavioral
monitoring, and prescription drug monitoring. UDS can also be additionally used in detecting aberrant behavior that is suggestive of nonmedical use of controlled substances.
Providers must be familiar with metabolic products from parent drugs. BioPrecision Laboratories, Inc. specially designed its UDS for Pain Management Clinics and Psychiatric and Behavioral Health Care providers, Drug Rehab Centers, and any other related healthcare service provider.
